March on NYC Animal Care and Control, September 17, 2017

It's no secret that NYC Animal Care and Control needs to embrace complete shelter reform and animal rights advocates are marching  tomorrow September 16, 2017 as a cohesive unit to demand a total revamping of the broken shelter system!
The details are below and we hope to see you there! We must demand a positive change for our homeless, unwanted and abused animals!  We're their voice!

We will rally at Ground Zero - NY Animal Care and Control (convening at 2pm at 110th Street & First Avenue) where the murdering of innocent adoptable dogs and cats (and other animals) still occurs. We must demand an END to the killing of cats and dogs period.

At 4pm, we are MARCHING TO GRACIE MANSION. We will march down Second Avenue (on the sidewalk with police escort) from 110th street to about 90th street and the over to York Avenue to the mansion gates.

We need our elected officials TO SEE US OUT THERE!

WHAT ARE WE MADE OF? Please ask yourself that question and buy a ticket to fly to NYC for September 16th. Local? be there!

Please call 845 856 7366 - to get registered and volunteer as a coordinator recruiter.

WE STARTED THIS PATH OF ADVOCACY - WE WILL END IT. THAT'S US. NEW YORK ANIMAL RIGHTS ALLIANCE AMERICA.

OPEN BID. FIRE EVERYONE (get the greedy filthy hands of the "three families of rescue" as outlined by Winograd out of animal care in NYC! ASPCA, Mayors Alliance Conglomerate (not the rescues) and NY ACC). We need an entirely new entity that is a PROVEN TRACK RECORD TRUE NO KILL RESCUE. RISE UP!

We will rally at Ground Zero NY ACC, wear red, beat on drums and MARCH through the streets of NYC (march route in planning with NYPD).

LEGISLATIVE CHANGES WORKED/WORKING ON:
1) Repeal the weight ban in NYC Housing Authority.
2) Build True No Kill Facilities in Queens & the Bronx.
3) Filed Criminal Complaints for Lack of Veterinary Care demanding they are held accountable, lawsuit pending.
4) Filed Criminal Complaint for Corruption and Racketeering, lawsuit pending.
5) Legislation needed at the state level to remove animal control from under the Dept of Health to a proven True No Kill Rescue entity with an OPEN BID. It is the epitome of corruption for a fake nonprofit with government cronies and criminals to run animal control facility with such arrogance and impunity.
6) Require nonprofit animal rescues to be transparent in posting out future dispositions of animals that they have pulled from death row.
7) Any 501c3 nonprofit rescue from anywhere in the country should be able to pull a death row animal - remove the CARTEL that controls pledges, donations and Maddie's Fund dollars, ostrasizing, attacking and shunning any other rescue that wishes to pull.
8) Remove the time limit for animal to be rescued. No animal should ever be killed unless incurable illness or injury is present.
9) Cameras must be placed in all areas of the facility including the veterinary suite where animals are treated and killed - immediately.

PS We'll try a different method of posting to circumvent shelter insider and peta interference.
