NJ 'Moose's Law' prohibits animal abusers from owning pets

Moose a dog that was stolen and left to die in a hot car!

TRENTON – Legislation sponsored by state Sen. Kip Bateman (R-16th) to prohibit convicted animal abusers from owning or working with pets has passed the New Jersey Senate.
“Moose’s Law” is named in memory of a New Jersey dog that was lured from his home property and killed at the hands of a supposed animal trainer. The law was passed unanimously by the state Senate on Monday.

“The monsters who commit atrocious animal abuses should not be allowed anywhere near pets, let alone be permitted to work with or own them,” Bateman said in a press release. “While animal abuse is already illegal in New Jersey, this measure expands and strengthens animal cruelty consequences and helps to ensure our furry friends are not unknowingly placed in the wrong hands. Protecting vulnerable pets from cruelty and mistreatment will save the lives of animal companions across the state.”

Considering the Pitbull Tori that was adopted off Craig's list by a dog, serial killed Matthew C. Wydrinski, of East Windsor, N.J. who withheld food from the dog for four long months until she passed away, tapping her last moments next to a new unused bowl his kids playing in the background. Matthew C. Wydrinski was arrested and only received forty hours of community service for his heinous crime and can own a dog in the future. A2319 and  S1258  must be passed!

Tori’s lifeless body after suffering for four long months at the hands of dog serial killer Matthew C. Wydrinski, of East Windsor, N.J.

Tori should have weighed a minimum of 40 pounds. When she died, she weighed only eighteen pounds! This vital law must be passed to protect mankind's greatest and loyal friends!

JUSTICE FOR ADOPTED DOG STARVED TO DEATH, and FILMED DYING ON CAMERA NEXT TO EMPTY FOOD BOWL!

PLEASE SIGN AND SHARE THIS VERY NECESSARY AND VITAL PETITION!

Four months after her guardians allegedly decided to give her away for free to a “good home,” Tori the pit bull starved to death beside a brand new, empty food bowl her heartbreaking last moment's videotaped and posted the video online.

As I understand it Tori's family made the decision to rehome her after a break-up. They posted her on Craig's list offering her free to anyone wishing to adopt her. I have no doubt that her killer Matthew C. Wydrinski was looking for an opportunity such as this! A free dog was given to anyone that wanted her. His sick depraved nature must have gone into overdrive at the idea!

It is said that poor Tori would be the third dog to fall into Matthew C. Wydrinski's evil hands and die the long painful torturous death she was soon to face! People like Matthew have a need to act on their unholy impulses, they cannot help themselves! How he must have planned his deceitful takeover of Tori. I have no doubt he wanted Tori bad. His killer craving running high, he answered the advertisement and agreed to meet Tori's owners. He even brought his children with him for show. I understand Tor's owners watched her play with Matthew's children in a nearby grassy area. Satisfied Tori would have a good home, they handled Tori over to this heartless killer and set her dreadful fate! What Tori endured must never happen to another innocent pet! The slap on the wrist that his monstrous offender received was an assault to justice!

What kind of world do we live in when a crime against one of God's creations is taken so lightly? The laws must change and must change now starting with the revaluation of Matthew C. Wydrinski's sentence to one in which he does jail time! He will never stop unless he is stopped! He is a danger to all, especially other pets, and innocent children! He starved Tori in front of his small children and filmed her last moments with the sound of them playing in the background! Need I say more!

Please help by joining in the call to action explained below, it would help bring awareness to the fact that not only was this a very serious crime against a sentient being!

This was not Matthew C. Wydrinski's first time doing this it was his 3rd which was never put in his report! He's a dog serial killer!

A call to action: Please send a letter and call the 2 individuals Lady Freethinker's petition is targeting. The more the better. They hate to get blindsided by mail and phone calls and you know what sometimes the squeaky wheel gets greased.

Let it be known in your letter and or phone call that this was not a case of animal cruelty. This was planned. He took his kids to meet this happy, friendly family dog. He took it into his "care". He starved the animal to death. As a final goodbye to Tori, he took pics and a video with children laughing in the background as Tori took her final breaths. He posted it on social media. He has apparently done this to two other animals. Nobody in the court system from what we can see checked on the family dynamics of a sadist bringing up young children while a wife looks on.

There is way more to this case than what meets the eye. This is a scary individual. I wonder if the Assemblymen would be okay with him living in their neighborhood. What do they have to say for the courts not even looking into the family's welfare? Oh, and let us not forget the new but empty dog dish that was supposed to nourish a family's new beloved pet sitting in plain sight next to an intentionally starved animal.

Poor 3-year-old #BEN  wasn’t surrendered at the shelter with a request to euthanize. Instead, he was abandoned on the streets of Miami to fend for himself in constant fear of strangers who I’ve sure taunted him, in fear of cars almost hitting him. His owner didn’t even care enough to drive him to a shelter where he would have some type of protection from a cruel world. Not worthy of a picture once at the shelter and never taken out of his kennel. So fearful he actually pees on himself.  He’s a 58 lb. grey and white terrier who doesn’t want to die

I lived my life outside on a chain as a 3-year-old. I was finally taken off my chain and was so happy. I thought my human was finally ready to bring me inside where I would have a soft bed to sleep on and no longer have to sit in the hot sun. I thought my human was finally ready to love me. I thought finally I did everything right and was worthy of being a part of the family. I was wrong My human threw me in the car and drove me to the shelter. I heard my human say…” I want him euthanized”. My heart broke into a million pieces. In a matter of minutes, I went from feeling like I was finally loved to fearing my life was about to end. You wanted me dead because I didn’t get along with other dogs, but you kept me on a chain outside alone and never even tried to socialize me. You never let me try to make friends with other dogs. No matter how you treated me or what you did to me, I loved you. I guess my reward for loving you unconditionally is death!
